Data We Collect
BarC collects email address, authentication identifiers, profile fields, scoring profile information, calisthenics results, medals, rankings, optional proof videos, reports, blocks, moderation records, abuse-protection records, hCaptcha tokens and account email-delivery data.
How We Use Data
We use data to create accounts, secure login, calculate scores, show medals and rankings, review proof videos, handle reports and blocks, send account emails, protect the service and support account deletion.
Public Profiles and Rankings
Other signed-in users may see your display name, country, gender division, height, non-hidden city, derived age, non-hidden bodyweight and result data. Privacy settings, private profiles and blocks limit visibility through server-side rules.
Proof Videos
Proof videos are optional private moderation evidence. Ordinary users do not receive proof-video URLs through public views. Moderators may review proof videos for verification and abuse handling.
Processors
BarC uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage and Edge Functions. hCaptcha processes challenge data. The configured email provider processes account emails. Apple, Expo and device platforms may process operational diagnostics according to their terms.
Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account in the app from Profile, then Delete account. The deletion flow removes the Supabase Auth user, cascades associated app data where the schema allows it, attempts proof-video removal and clears the local session. Some operational logs, moderation audit records, backups or provider logs may remain when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations or system integrity.
Your Choices
You can update profile fields, change privacy settings, block users, report objectionable content and delete your account in the app. Contact barcapp.contact@gmail.com for access, correction or deletion requests after the support address is confirmed.
Children, Security and Changes
BarC requires users to be at least 13. Profiles for users under 18 default to private. BarC uses authentication, RLS, private storage, HTTPS and server-side checks, but no system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy as BarC changes.
